Halloween felt so different this year, didn't it? We still tried to fit in all our fall favorites like making a trip to Julian to pick pumpkins and eat pie and later carve our pumpkins. We've roasted pumpkin seeds a few times and ate pumpkin pie yesterday.

Just like Halloween itself, our costumes were kind of low-key using things found (mostly from Goodwill) and other things from our very own closets. I don't know what any of them were exactly, but they were happy (mostly) and somehow came home with more candy than I ever remember even though I think I can count on two hands how many homes we visited.
