A Little Bit About Me

Thank you for stopping by. I’m a natural light photographer living in Orange County, California and have always loved taking pictures. I believe everyone has a unique story, and it’s beautiful to see how pieces of this story can be captured in a portrait.

My goal is to preserve those moments and details you never want to forget.....the feeling of having met someone whom you now can't imagine life without, the way your youngest collapses into your chest, nuzzling against you and holding his arms tightly around your neck, or maybe how your family is always the happiest when playing together at the beach, or those fleeting days of when your babe still fit completely in the palms of your hands. This is why I love what I do. Through my lens, I will forever capture your story, your memories, your dreams. Every family should have tangible heirloom pieces that remind you of all the love that filled your home when the days were long. Because, as we all know, the years are short.

Photography is not only a career for me, it is my passion, and I think about it all the time. I’m always watching how the light hits someone’s face or hair, even when my camera is nowhere in sight. I’m married to my favorite person, and we have four beautiful kidlets. I’m a violinist, I love cupcakes way more than I should, and I collect pretty boxes. While I looove cookbooks, I dislike cooking. I like mint-chocolate-anything and am nuts about poetry. I live vicariously through Pinterest. And, my longtime dream about one day living on a little farm with goats and chickens and my own vegetable garden is starting to come true, as we recently moved to the perfect spot for all of these things. Now I just need to convince my husband how much we need those said goats and chickens (and find a minute to start working on that garden).
