A Little Bit About Me

I am an Orange County Lifestyle and Family Photographer and love photographing families, maternity, newborns, couples and high school seniors. Shooting exclusively as a natural light photographer, I love doing outdoor photography sessions as well as in-home lifestyle sessions here in Orange County and surrounding areas such as San Juan Capistrano, Huntington Beach, Dana Point, San Clemente, Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach and Irvine. My goal with every session is to create authentic, timeless pieces of art that tell your family's story and capture those little details you never want to forget.

Telling Your Story

I offer a variety of sessions, including couples & engagement, maternity, newborn, family and even high school seniors. I very much consider myself a story-teller, and through my lens, I want to tell your's.

Capturing my couples or families playing and loving on each other is what I love to do. Of course, I always make sure we get some posed images too, but I am most drawn to those playful ones, or even the quiet tender moments — that in 20 years will immediately take you back to what it felt like at this stage in your life together, whether it be with your significant other, or your children.

My Approach

I approach my newborn photography very much as lifestyle and somewhat minimalistic in nature, and while there is always a bit of styling and baby-led posing, I want to photograph you and your family doing the kinds of things you do with a brand new little one and capture the sweet details that only last for those first few weeks when your baby is still truly a newborn.

I also believe these sessions are about more than just the new babe in your home, but the effect this new babe has on the dynamic of the whole household. Of course, we will focus a whole lot on your sweet newborn, but I want to capture the rest of your crew too, so that this uniquely special time with your family is forever memorialized. My goal is to give you beautiful, simplistic photographs of your new baby and newly expanded family that are timeless and truly authentic to you.

Styling Your Session

As a part of your photography session, I always offer complimentary wardrobe styling, often themed around a neutral palette, as these tones are so timeless and photograph beautifully. Much like styling a space in your home, I always advise that you start with one piece you really love — maybe a favorite dress of your own for instance, and then build everyone elses' outfits around that piece. Coordinating color instead of matching looks classy and artistic. I love moms in long statement dresses, ones that have movement, as this always looks so pretty in a photograph.

Hair and make-up services are also available, and I love when moms pamper themselves. All the planning leading up to your session day can be stressful, so it's so important to me that the actual day of the session is fun.

It's Personal

My own littles were the original source of my obsession with photography, and I love to capture our lives, as messy and imperfect as they are. I also love design and hope to start sharing more of that here as well.
