This may have been my favorite Halloween yet. My only big regret is that I didn’t snap more candids from the actual night of Halloween, but I have promised myself to do that next year. I did, however, manage to get the costumes made a few days early so that we had time to take a hike clad in our Halloween best and am happy my littles are all still content letting me make their costumes. We try only to use things found around the house and make everything else. I did buy that cute little knit bunny hat my youngest is wearing from Oeuf, and this hat served as the inspiration for my daughter’s costume. We upcycled a goodwill sweater to make her cat hat. Even though I don’t consider myself to be a seamstress by any means, I love the process of figuring out how to create the costumes my kids request. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
